This web site is designed, created and maintained by David Robinson, a freelance journalist and online education consultant.
After A'levels at Farnham College, David went on to become a graduate of the University of Kent, with a BA(Hons) in Geography and Education and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Durham University. He has worked as a secondary school (11-18) geography teacher and as head of a department in a Further Education College. Since leaving teaching in 2005 he has worked as a full time online educator and freelance journalist.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and of the Royal Meteorological Society.
Since 1996, David has been actively involved in the promotion of the Internet as an educational medium. He was the UK Geography representative on the EUN Virtual School team, and has produced online educational materials for the Electronic Telegraph , the European Virtual School and Learnthings, the online education site run by the Guardian newspaper. He has contributed material to educational CD's including the SCET Geography disc, UK Government publications, magazines and school textbooks around the world. He is also a member of the Association of Teacher Websites.
