Uganda Rural Fund
The Uganda Rural Fund is a non-profit organization that has generated the primary funding for an elementary vocational school in the remote village of Kyetume. In cooperation with a dedicated team of young men and women at Saint John's University and the College of Saint Benedict in Minnesota, the URF-USA also funds the operation of three orphanages. It is also assisting in the assessment and resettlement of former child soldiers in the dangerous northern Ugandan districts. It also offers opportunities for volunteers to work both in Uganda and elsewhere.
